The Project Brief
Revitalising Tintagel Parish Council’s Paid Toilet Entry Gates
With a heavy seasonal influx of tourists, Tintagel Parish Council recognised their public toilets were in critical need of modernisation. Aiming to both handle the large volume of customers and to make the units profitable for the Council, the existing gates and facilities required excessive upkeep and only offered cash payment.
Contactless Entry Gate Installation and Toilet Refurbishment
With the client brief in hand, Hi-Tec Washrooms Solutions Project Manager Ramon Bunce outlined precisely the improvements necessary to overhaul the outdated public toilets; including brand new Contactless Ready Paddle Gates with online Cash and Contactless Reporting. With works commencing in May and lasting mere weeks, the public toilet refurbishment was undertaken with the utmost care and attention; leading to a high quality finish from the Hi-Tec team.
Maintainable and Profitable Cash & Contactless Public Toilets
The result of the Hi-Tec team’s efforts, in addition to the local support of Tintagel Parish Council, has led to completely revitalised public toilet facilities. With reduced overheads for cash collection, greatly improved customer usability and the logistical benefits of the cash and contactless reporting; Hi-Tec Washrooms has been proud to be part of such a successful project in bringing the first Contactless Public Toilet Installation to Cornwall.
